Timing & Frequency
Control when notifications first appear and how often they repeat during a visit.
Settings Reference

Trigger Types Explained
- Time-based — Shows the first popup after the Initial Delay (e.g. 8 seconds after page load)
- Scroll — Waits until the visitor scrolls to the Scroll Depth threshold
- Exit Intent — Triggers when the visitor's cursor moves toward closing the tab (Starter plan and above)
- Immediate — Shows the first popup as soon as the page loads, no delay
- Both — Fires on whichever trigger happens first: time or scroll

Recommended Settings for New Stores

How to Update
- Open the Nudge dashboard
- Go to Settings → Timing
- Adjust each setting as needed
- Click Save
Start conservative
Too many popups can annoy visitors. Start with the defaults and increase frequency only if analytics show low impressions.
