Control when notifications first appear and how often they repeat during a visit.

Trigger Types Explained

  • Time-based — Shows the first popup after the Initial Delay (e.g. 8 seconds after page load)
  • Scroll — Waits until the visitor scrolls to the Scroll Depth threshold
  • Exit Intent — Triggers when the visitor's cursor moves toward closing the tab (Starter plan and above)
  • Immediate — Shows the first popup as soon as the page loads, no delay
  • Both — Fires on whichever trigger happens first: time or scroll

How to Update

  1. Open the Nudge dashboard
  2. Go to Settings → Timing
  3. Adjust each setting as needed
  4. Click Save
Start conservative

Too many popups can annoy visitors. Start with the defaults and increase frequency only if analytics show low impressions.
