Page Targeting
Choose which pages on your store display notifications. Showing the right notification on the right page increases relevance and clicks.
Available Page Types
| Page Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Enabled | Your store's homepage |
| Product | Enabled | Individual product pages |
| Collection | Enabled | Category / collection listing pages |
| Cart | Disabled | The shopping cart page |
Default Behavior
By default, notifications show on Home, Product, and Collection pages. The Cart page is off by default to keep the checkout experience focused.
Product Page Matching
When enabled, this option shows notifications specifically for the product currently being viewed — rather than a random recent purchase.
For example, if a visitor is browsing your "Blue Denim Jacket," they'll see: "Someone from London just purchased Blue Denim Jacket."
Matching notifications to the viewed product creates stronger social proof — the visitor sees that others bought exactly what they're considering.
How to Configure
- Open the Nudge dashboard
- Go to Settings → Page Targeting
- Toggle each page type on or off
- Enable or disable Product Page Matching as needed
- Click Save
Enabling notifications on the Cart page can create urgency at the point of decision. Test it carefully — some stores see lift, others find it distracting during checkout.
