Track how your notifications are performing and use the data to improve results.

Key Metrics

MetricWhat it measures
ImpressionsTotal number of times notifications were shown to visitors
ClicksNumber of times a visitor clicked on a notification
CTRClick-through rate — clicks divided by impressions, shown as a percentage

Dashboard Overview

The Analytics section of your Nudge dashboard shows:

  • Total impressions and clicks for the selected period
  • CTR so you can gauge how engaging your notifications are
  • Daily breakdown of all three metrics (Starter plan and above)

How to Use Analytics to Optimize

Low impressions?

  • Check that notifications are enabled and the app embed is active
  • Widen your page targeting (add more page types)
  • Reduce the Initial Delay or Max Per Session limits

High impressions, low clicks?

  • Try a more eye-catching template (e.g. a Gradient style)
  • Enable Product Page Matching so notifications are more relevant
  • Test a different position — bottom-right can outperform bottom-left on some stores

Good CTR (above 2–3%)?

  • Your setup is working well — focus on driving more traffic to see more impressions

Viewing Your Analytics

  1. Open the Nudge dashboard
  2. Click Analytics in the left menu
  3. Select a date range to filter results
  4. Review impressions, clicks, and CTR

A weekly review takes 2 minutes and helps you catch issues (like a sudden drop in impressions) before they affect revenue.
