Mobile Display

Nudge is designed to work great on mobile — but you have full control over how (and whether) notifications appear on smaller screens.

Mobile Toggle

The Show on Mobile setting lets you enable or disable notifications specifically for mobile visitors.

Show on MobileOnWhen off, notifications only appear on desktop

Disable this if your mobile layout is already crowded, or if you want to run a desktop-only test.

Mobile Position Options

Mobile position is configured separately from desktop. Your desktop choice does not automatically carry over.

OptionDescription
Bottom LeftSmall popup, lower-left corner
Bottom RightSmall popup, lower-right corner
Bottom CenterSmall popup, centered at the bottom
Bottom Full-WidthSpans the full screen width at the bottom
Top CenterSmall popup, centered at the top
Top Full-WidthSpans the full screen width at the top

Best Practices

  • Use Bottom Full-Width for maximum visibility on mobile — it's hard to miss and doesn't obscure content
  • Avoid top positions if your theme has a sticky header — the notification may overlap with navigation
  • Keep message text short — long messages wrap awkwardly on small screens; aim for under 10 words
  • Test on a real device — the Live Preview is a good starting point, but always verify on an actual phone

How to Configure

  1. Open the Nudge dashboard
  2. Go to Appearance → Position
  3. Scroll to the Mobile section
  4. Toggle mobile display on or off
  5. Select your preferred mobile position
  6. Click Save
tip

Bottom Full-Width with a Gradient template creates a strong, brand-consistent mobile notification that many merchants find converts well.
